KU EPT คืออะไร

KU-English Proficiency Test (KU-EPT)

KU-EPT คือ แบบทดสอบวัดความรู้ความสามารถด้านภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อนิสิตมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ทั้งระดับปริญญาตรีและระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา (ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก) เป็นแบบทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้สนใจศึกษาต่อในมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์  และสำหรับบุคคลทั่วไปที่ต้องการวัดความรู้ความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อพัฒนาตนเอง เพื่อการสมัครงาน การเลื่อนขั้น หรือเพื่อใช้ประกอบการสมัครเข้าศึกษาต่อผลสอบ KU-EPT มีอายุ 2 ปี นับจากวันสอบ

KU EPT ใช้วัดอะไร

•  ใช้วัดทักษะทางภาษาเพื่อประเมินผลนิสิต (จัดกลุ่มวิชาเรียนและจบการศึกษา)
• ใช้เป็นเกณฑ์ศึกษาต่อ
• ใช้ประเมินบุคคลากร
• ใช้วัดความพร้อมในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับการเรียน การค้นคว้าวิจัย ในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย โดยเน้นทักษะการอ่าน และ ความรู้เชิงโครงสร้าง (Language Components): ผ่านการทดสอบไวยากรณ์ คำศัพท์ และโครงสร้างประโยคที่จำเป็นในเชิงวิชาการ

KU EPT สอบอะไรบ้าง 

แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ส่วนหลัก ได้แก่
1 Structure --ลักษณะเป็นคำถามเป็นแบบ  Sentence Completion (25 ข้อ):  เพื่อวัดแกรมม่า (Grammar)  
2 Cloze Test (15 ข้อ): เพื่อวัดคำศัพท์ Vocabulary และบริบท
3. Reading Comprehension (40 ข้อ): มีทั้ง Passage สั้น และ Passage ยาว เพื่อวัดความเข้าใจในการอ่าน

โครงสร้างข้อสอบ KU EPT

ข้อสอบ KU-EPT (Kasetsart University English Proficiency Test) เป็นข้อสอบปรนัย 80 ข้อ ใช้เวลา 3 ชั่วโมง

มี 3 Part ดังนี้

• Part I: Structure 25 ข้อ
• Part II: Cloze test 15 ข้อ
• Part III: Reading 40 ข้อ

คะแนน KU EPT เท่าไรถึงผ่าน

1. นิสิตมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์

• นิสิตระดับปริญญาตรี ที่เข้าเรียนตั้งแต่ปีการศึกษา 2563 เป็นต้นไป สามารถใช้ผลสอบ KU-EPT เพื่อกำหนดรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษแรกเริ่ม ในหมวดศึกษาทั่วไปได้ ดังนี้   

1. 01355101  หรือเทียบเท่า 1-25
2. 01355103  หรือเทียบเท่า >25
3. 01355103 หรือเทียบเท่า >40
4. 0135510x หรือเทียบเท่า >50

• นิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ สามารถใช้ผลสอบ KU-EPT เพื่อทดแทนการสอบ KU-EXITE ได้ KU-EXITE เป็นการทดสอบวัดความรู้ความสามารถด้านภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับนิสิตที่จะสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ (Exit-exam)

• นิสิตระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา

  ผู้สนใจศึกษาต่อในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ สามารถใช้ผลสอบ KU-EPT เพื่อประกอบการสมัครเรียน หรือใช้เป็นผลสอบภาษาอังกฤษตามความต้องการของบัณฑิตวิทยาลัยได้ ดังนี้

1. ระดับ ปริญญาโท คะแนน KU EPT ไม่น้อยกว่า 50 คะแนน
2. ระดับ ปริญญาเอก คะแนน KU EPT ไม่น้อยกว่า 60 คะแนน
